Rule of thumb….you get what you pay for! If you value your belongings, sometimes it’s best to pay the little extra for a piece of mine. You’re hiring a professional mover because you invested time and money in your furniture, appliances, etc. and they should be handled with care. Don’t buy into the “insurance” as it will never replace the value, nor come close to repair or replace what has been damaged or lost. So far I have found ABS to be best. Their drivers are their employees so they are not hiring out for cheap labor. No middle man!

Thanks for your blog. Cheap movers often quote a price that sounds too good to be
true. Those movers are the ones that you read reviews about, and they have
robbed their clients. They may have even caused extensive damage to belongings
due to inexperience. Most Cheap movers have not been in business long enough to
build a reputation or show that they have the experience needed for complicated
moves.

We will have access to an apartment in Santa Rosa, CA, June 29th. Hoping to have 1 chair, ottaman, and at least 30 boxes, 24 potted plants loaded the 28th and delivered around 10 am the 29th of June. We are one of many who lost there home in the Tubbs fire. I will be purchasing boxes and will pack but need muscle to load, unload and transport.
